I’m not big on New Year’s resolutions.  I do, however, like to kick off each new year with a portfolio shoot (which superstition dictates must be completed within the first week of January).

Unfortunately here in Miami, 2016 started off with lots and lots of rain.  So while my inspiration was telling me to do a lifestyle shoot at the beach, El Niño seemed to be laughing in my face.

Thankfully Laura, my styling cohort and I kept a close eye on the forecast and picked the one and only, absolutely glorious day of the whole week and managed to throw this fun little shoot together.
