Over the past two years, I’ve photographed many artists, designers and craftspersons, from Miami to Palm Beach, for Luxe Interiors + Design magazine.  Some of the studio spaces and materials are especially inspiring.  And some of the people I’m tasked with making portraits of are especially inspiring.  This assignment happened to encompass both.

Dan Droney is a ceramic tile artist based in West Palm Beach, FL.  He is not only talented at his craft, but is also one of the nicest people you will ever meet.  Making a portrait (or two or three) of him was fun and easy.  In addition, his studio is mesmerizing- with so many interesting shapes, colors and textures it was hard to know just where to start!
