Within the first week of each year, I like to kick things off by photographing a self-assigned photo shoot for my portfolio. For 2019, I was finally able to pull together a photo shoot that I’ve been wanting to do for several years now.
A while back I dreamt up the idea of photographing a story of a 1960s housewife. Since I live in a mid-century modern condo building in Miami, I didn’t have to look far for the ideal location. And one day, while on Instagram, I found the perfect model! Her name is Queef Latina. I was convinced that she was the only person for this photo shoot. After following her on Instagram for over a year, I finally decided to reach out. Not only was she was open to collaborating and to being photographed, but she also supplied the perfect wardrobe, hair, make-up, and attitude for this project.
I have to say I’m thrilled with the results. Check out the story below.

Good Morning. Time to walk the dog. Then time for perfect hair (for both of us).

Who says a girl and her garden can’t look good at the same time?

It’s never too early (or too late) for a poolside martini.

Waiting for the nanny. Parenting is such fun.
